Clinical/Research Interests:  Dr. Ellis specializes in fetal and pediatric neuropathology, teratology (the study of malformations or serious deviations), normal brain development, pathology of nervous system aging, Down syndrome dementia, Alzheimer's disease and other neurogenerative diseases, as well as muscle pathology. He has collaborated on studies of Parkinson's disease, schizophrenia, senile dementia, and early Alzheimer's lesions in young Down syndrome patients.
