Clinical/Research Interests:  A surgical pathologist and expert in renal pathology and dermatopathology, Dr. Vogt uses electron microscopy and immunopathology techniques for cancer diagnosis. He also monitors quality of care for surgery patients as a member of the Operating Room Policies Committee. His numerous honors include accolades from the Naval Regional Medical Center in Oakland, distinguished teaching awards from UC Berkeley, several awards for outstanding teaching from the Departments of Surgery and Pathology at UC Davis, and the Kaiser Award for Excellence in Teaching of Clinical Services.
